Ända sedan jag började gymnasiet har jag med jämna mellanrum gått på fest. Detta på grund av att jag haft vänner som anordnat fester och för att det är himla kul ibland. Det har för mig aldrig känts som ett problem att gå på fest på grund av min religion. Grejen med Jesus och kristendomen, i mina ögon och som jag upplever det, är att vem som helst kan bli kristen. Det enda kravet är att man är beredd att bli kompis med Jesus och ha med honom i sitt liv. Att bli kristen, eller Jesus kompis eller vad man nu vill kalla det, kan få olika konsekvenser för olika personer. När man vill bli kristen säger inte Jesus "Tja, men hörredu, återkom när du slutat med det här och det här" utan det är, på riktigt, en så himla öppen famn som säger "Jag har längtat efter det här, min älskade." Och när man väl accepterat den där öppna famnen och den där kärleken då vill man leva sitt liv på ett sätt som hedrar Jesus eftersom man verkligen insett att oj, han gav livet för mig. Då känns det, för mig, helt naturligt att känna av, i min egna personliga relation till Jesus, vad som känns rätt och fel att göra. Det finns riktlinjer i Bibeln men sedan tror jag så oerhört mycket på att min personliga relation till Jesus är så pass stark och sann att jag även kan lita på att man, tillsammans med honom, kan utforma sitt liv på ett denise-sätt som hedrar honom. Jesus säger inte att man ska släppa allt man har och är. Jesus vill ta allt och omfamna allt. Sedan kan det självklart finnas saker som man känner inte känns rätt att göra längre. Absolut, att bli kristen innebär ju trots allt något livsomvälvande men Jesus är inte ute efter att du ska sluta med saker du tycker om, så länge de inte liksom förstör din relation till honom. Är det inte skadligt för dig så kommer Jesus att omfamna dina intressen och ditt livsval. Man kan kombinera Jesus med fotboll, motorcyklar, att dansa på fest, böcker, sång, ja you name it. Jesu kärlek är så stor, så stor. Jag tror inte vi människor kan förstå det. Därför vänder jag mig lite mot att du säger att det skulle gå emot religionen att vara på fest. Jag tror verkligen inte det behöver vara så. Angående alkohol så är det ingenting som har lockat mig. Jag märkte direkt att man inte behövde vara full för att ha kul på mina vänners hemmafester och har således sen min första fest druckit cola. Det är inget problem för mig. Jag uppskattar att veta var jag har mig själv och en fest ger mig, antar jag (har ju inte provat nåt annat sätt), mycket mer om jag är nykter. Jag har alltid väldigt roligt ändå. Hur man som kristen ska ställa sig till alkohol tänker jag inte heller uttala mig om. Det är upp till var och en att konsultera vår herre om den saken.
